T.C. 657 |
DESCRIPTION
T.C. 657 is a unique liquid compound designed to provide a continuous and uniform zinc phosphate conversion coating on metal components when applied through either immersion or industrial spray washing equipment.
T.C. 657 has a unique crystal refiner that produces a microcrystalline lattice on the metal surface that provides an ideal foundation for anchoring paint. Physically, the paint takes a much stronger grip on the rugged layer of crystals which is ionically and chemically bonded to the metal surface. The microcrystalline nature of T.C. 657 also absorbs less paint than typical zinc phosphate coatings and generally yields a higher gloss to the final finish.
Properly applied, T.C. 657 meets the following specifications: TTC-490B Type I (spray or tank), QQZ-325B Type III and QQP-416C Type III. This formula, under most conditions, provides minimum coating weights of 150 mgs/square foot by spray and 300-mgs/square foot by tank application.
