T.C. 901

PRIMARY APPLICATION

T.C. 901 not only does the toughest cleaning jobs in the transportation industry but also it solves one of its toughest problems - disposing of spent material. The liquid alkaline detergent is specially formulated for easy removal of spent solutions. A built-in feature simplifies effluent treatment, reduces disposal costs by promoting easy separation of oil and grease from spent solutions. The material is biodegradable and phosphate-free.

NOTES ON USE

Safety and Handling Precautions: T.C. 901 is a highly alkaline industrial material. Direct contact may cause burns of eyes and skin. It is harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wear protective gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing when handling. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not take internally.

First Aid in Case of Contact: Immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. For eyes, seek medical attention. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Contact a physician. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

DISPOSAL

Dispose in accordance with Federal, state and local regulations. Oils may be split out either (1) by acidifying with a material such as T.C. to a pH of 4.5 while agitating; or (2) by heating effluent solutions to 140°F (60°C) or above. Allow to separate, skim off oils and haul away. Neutralize, dilute and discharge remaining solution.
