DESCRIPTION
T.C. 171 is a highly alkaline, liquid compound used for cleaning, paint stripping, and derusting in soak tanks or spray washers.
USE
T.C. 171 is a heavy-duty liquid cleaner formulated for use in both spray washer and immersion tank operations. In one operation it removes heavy iron oxides, phosphate coatings, resistant paint finishes, drawing and forming lubricants, heat scale, light flash rust and typical shop soils. Therefore, it eliminates pickling, neutralizing and the rinses that would be needed.
T.C. 171 has built-in chelates and sequestrants so is an outstanding performer in hard water areas. It is a low foamer and an excellent rinser.

CAUTION
Contains caustic material. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. When handling, use rubber gloves and goggles. Avoid contact with clothing. Should contact occur, flush skin with water; for eyes, flood with copious amounts of water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
