DESCRIPTION

T.C. 1617-LF is a heavy duty liquid cleaner formulated for use in both spray washer and immersion tank operations. It incorporates a unique blend of surfactants that are stable in a high caustic media and thus, maintain their cleaning effectiveness. Removal of heavy soils, rust and paint is quickly accomplished due to highly active penetrating agents and sequestrenes. A high tolerance for contamination provides for sustained cleaning power and longer tank life.

USE

T.C. 1617-LF is used at 1 to 2 ounces per gallon at 120°F to 170°F for one minute in spray washer systems. A concentration of 5 to 15% Volume at 160° to R.B. for 3 to 7 minutes is generally used for immersion operations. Extremely heavy soil loads and/or rust may require higher concentrations. A rolling boil often provides sufficient agitation to increase the cleaning effectiveness on difficult soil loads. Other means of agitation can be air or mechanical. Safe on iron, steel and copper (may darken some alloys); not safe on aluminum, galvanized, zinc die cast, or other soft metals.

SPECIFICATIONS

CAUTION

Contains caustic. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. When handling, use rubber gloves and goggles. Avoid contact with clothing. Should contact occur, flush skin with water; for eyes, flood with copious amounts of water for 15 minutes and get medical attention.
